Product & Marketing Director

Responsible for leading the strategy, development, profitability, and growth of the credit card and unsecured lending portfolio. The role oversees product management, portfolio performance, customer acquisition, customer lifecycle management, risk-adjusted profitability, and regulatory compliance while driving innovation and digital transformation.

Product Strategy & Portfolio Management

• Develop and execute the overall strategy for credit card and unsecured loan products.
• Manage product lifecycle, including product design, enhancement, pricing, and retirement.
• Define portfolio growth targets and profitability objectives.
• Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and product offerings. Benchmark products against competitors and industry trends.

Business Growth & Revenue Management

• Drive acquisition, activation, usage, and retention of customers.
• Develop strategies to increase loan balances, credit card spend, and customer engagement.
• Manage product P&L and achieve revenue, profitability, and market share targets.

Customer Experience & Digital Innovation

• Drive digital product initiatives and customer journey enhancements.
• Utilize customer insights and data analytics to improve product features.
• Lead customer-centric innovations, rewards programs, and digital lending solutions.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Banking, or related field. MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
• 10-15+ years of experience in retail banking, consumer finance, credit cards, or unsecured lending.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing product teams.
• Proven experience managing credit card and/or personal loan portfolios.
• Strong track record of delivering revenue growth and portfolio profitability.
• Excellent P&L management skills with demonstrated delivery of revenue and profitability outcomes.
• Deep expertise in portfolio analytics, customer segmentation, and product litecycle management.
• Strong understanding of various credit and operational risks, controls and compliance, and proven ability to work in a highly regulated environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to manage teams and influence stakeholders across various functions.
