Role Overview

Responsible for managing and developing the Group’s banking and payment infrastructure across multiple entities and jurisdictions. The role oversees banking relationships, account opening, payment service providers, transaction channels, account protection, AML/KYC coordination, and payment infrastructure resilience to ensure reliable and compliant movement of client and corporate funds.

The role works closely with banks, EMIs, payment service providers, internal Compliance, Legal, Finance, Operations and business teams to establish, maintain and optimise the Group’s global banking and payment network.

Key Responsibilities

1. Banking Relationship Management

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with banks, EMIs and payment service providers.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for banking-related operational, commercial and compliance matters.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with strategic banking partners.

2. Bank Account Opening & Infrastructure Expansion

  • Lead the end-to-end bank and EMI account opening process across multiple Group entities and jurisdictions.
  • Coordinate KYC/AML documentation, corporate information, ownership structures, business models and supporting documentation required by financial institutions.

3. Payment Infrastructure & Payment Rails

  • Manage and optimise payment channels for client deposits, withdrawals, corporate settlements and treasury movements.

5. Account Protection & Transaction Monitoring

  • Oversee banking-related account protection activities and investigate transaction or account-related issues.
  • Coordinate responses to bank enquiries, payment investigations and transaction queries.
  • Work with Compliance and Operations teams on AML/KYC enquiries and transaction monitoring matters.

6. Regulatory & KYC/AML Coordination

  • Coordinate with Compliance and Legal teams to satisfy bank and payment-provider onboarding requirements.

7. Commercial & Cost Optimisation

  • Monitor banking and payment costs across accounts and providers.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce transaction, settlement and FX costs.

8. Stakeholder & Project Management

  • Work with Finance, Compliance, Legal, Operations, Treasury, Technology and business teams on banking-related projects.

Job Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Degree or Diploma in Banking, Finance or Economics. 2-5 years of experience in business / commercial banking, banking partnerships, payments, treasury, or financial services is preferred, especially in CFD, fintech, or payment service providers.

Technical Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of banking operations, payment solutions, and treasury functions.
  • Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML), KYC, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience working with banking partners, payment providers, and financial institutions.

Soft Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, fluency in written and spoken Mandarin will be a key advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and the ability to assess banking solutions and risks effectively.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of working across multiple departments.
