Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Salesforce Developer at Baobab Education Ltd. The Salesforce Developer will design, build, and maintain custom Salesforce solutions that support the company’s education-focused products and internal processes. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and customizing Lightning Web Components and Visualforce pages, implementing and optimizing Salesforce.com features, and collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. The role also involves configuring and administering Salesforce environments, troubleshooting issues, ensuring data integrity, and maintaining best practices for security and performance. The Salesforce Developer will work closely with cross-functional teams to support integrations, releases, and ongoing enhancements within the Salesforce ecosystem.
Qualifications

• Proficiency in Salesforce.com development, including Apex programming and customization of core Salesforce.com features.
• Hands-on experience with Lightning Web Components and Visualforce pages for building user interfaces and custom functionality.
• Strong Salesforce.com administration skills, including configuration, user management, security settings, and workflow automation.
• Solid understanding of the broader Salesforce.com platform, including data modeling, integration concepts, and best practices.
• Relevant Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I, Administrator) are highly beneficial.
• Experience working in remote, collaborative teams with strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
