FP&A Associate | Global Investment Management Firm

Location: New York, NY (Midtown)

Schedule: Hybrid – 4 days in office, Fridays remote

Compensation: $110,000–$120,000 base + bonus

About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a leading global investment management firm seeking a high-performing FP&A Associate to join its growing finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Big 4 auditor with 2–4 years of experience looking to transition into a dedicated FP&A role within the investment management industry.

The position sits within a lean, highly collaborative team led by a former Big 4 professional and offers direct exposure to senior leadership, strong mentorship, and significant long-term growth potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
• Develop financial models, scenario analyses, and profitability assessments.
• Analyze financial performance, identify key business drivers, and provide actionable insights.
• Prepare management reporting packages, financial presentations, and executive-level analyses.
• Partner with Accounting and Finance teams to evaluate financial results and support strategic initiatives.
• Assist with capital planning, corporate finance projects, and ad hoc financial analysis.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting, forecasting, and analytical processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in Big 4 audit or advisory.
• Experience auditing Asset Management, Private Equity, Hedge Funds, or Investment Management clients strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• Demonstrated interest in transitioning into FP&A and developing a long-term career in finance.
