Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and business-focused Senior Director of FP&A to join a growing Finance organization. Reporting directly to the VP of FP&A, this is a unique opportunity for a hands-on finance leader who enjoys diving deep into data, building financial models, and partnering with executives to drive strategic business decisions.

Despite the Senior Director title, this is an individual contributor role with no direct reports. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders across the organization, leveraging advanced analytics, forecasting, and financial modeling to influence key decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain financial forecasts, budgets, long-range plans, and scenario models.
  • Analyze large, complex datasets to identify business trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Partner with leadership across finance, operations, and corporate functions to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Build executive-level presentations and materials for senior leadership discussions and strategic planning sessions.
  • Create and enhance financial models that drive business decision-making and performance management.
  • Consult with business units to understand operational drivers and translate them into financial forecasts and reporting.
  • Leverage AI-driven tools and advanced analytics to improve reporting, dashboarding, and decision support capabilities.
  • Support the organization’s evolution from traditional reporting tools toward next-generation analytics platforms and automated insights solutions.
  • Participate in quarterly business reviews, workshops, and strategic planning initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, Strategic Finance, Finance Analytics, or related fields.
  • Strong experience building complex financial models, forecasts, and business cases.
  • Advanced proficiency with SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Expert-level Excel skills including advanced modeling and scenario analysis.
  • Experience creating executive-facing presentations and communicating financial insights to senior leadership.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and translate data into business recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Python for analytics, automation, or financial modeling.
  • Experience with Power BI and modern business intelligence platforms.
  • Experience working with Snowflake or other cloud data warehouse technologies.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered analytics tools such as Claude or similar generative AI platforms.
  • Background supporting large-scale operations, healthcare services, consumer services, retail, or multi-site organizations.
