A growing regional company is looking for a Chief Revenue Officer to lead the company’s revenue strategy, sales performance, client growth, and market expansion. This is an executive leadership role responsible for aligning sales, business development, client services, and revenue operations around sustainable growth.

The right candidate will be a strategic commercial leader with a strong hands‑on understanding of B2B sales, account growth, market development, and operational alignment. This role requires someone who can build scalable revenue systems while staying close to the market, clients, and team execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the company’s overall revenue strategy across new business, existing accounts, and market expansion
  • Oversee sales, business development, client services, and revenue operations functions
  • Develop annual revenue plans, growth targets, forecasting processes, and performance metrics
  • Build and manage executive-level relationships with key clients, partners, and market stakeholders
  • Identify new market opportunities, service expansion strategies, and strategic growth initiatives
  • Partner with operations to ensure revenue growth is supported by strong service delivery
  • Improve pipeline management, CRM discipline, sales process, reporting, and team accountability
  • Lead pricing strategy, proposal standards, major deal reviews, and contract negotiations
  • Coach and develop commercial leaders across sales and client‑facing teams
  • Provide executive leadership with clear visibility into revenue performance, risks, and opportunities

Essential

  • 12 or more years of progressive commercial leadership experience
  • 5 or more years in senior sales, revenue, business development, or client growth leadership
  • Proven success leading revenue growth in a B2B services or commercial services environment
  • Strong understanding of sales strategy, account management, forecasting, pricing, and market expansion
  • Experience managing sales leaders, client service leaders, or multi-functional revenue teams
  • Ability to partner closely with operations, finance, HR, and executive leadership
  • Strong executive presence, negotiation ability, analytical skills, and communication skills
  • Experience building scalable revenue processes, reporting systems, and team accountability

Preferred

  • Experience leading growth for a regional or multi-market service business
  • Background in commercial services, facilities, staffing, logistics, or professional services
  • Existing relationships within the local or regional business community
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred but not required

$220,000 to $280,000 base annually, plus executive bonus or incentive potential
