Lead Advisor is a wealth management recruiting and consulting firm. This role is for one of our clients, a top wealth management firm Belle Chasse, Louisiana.

You will work closely with the firm’s advisors to turn research and analysis into thoughtful recommendations, implement portfolio decisions, and help clients navigate complex financial matters. The opportunity offers substantial responsibility for someone who takes ownership and values careful, high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio and Investment Management

  • Help design, implement, and monitor the firm’s investment models and portfolios in alignment with our investment philosophy.
  • Execute portfolio trades and review holdings, allocations, and investment performance.
  • Research investment managers, markets, and economic developments;
    present findings in a clear, useful format.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities, develop portfolio recommendations, and contribute actively to investment discussions.

Comprehensive Financial Planning

  • Develop detailed plans addressing retirement, tax considerations, estate planning, business succession, insurance, and wealth transfer.
  • Research advanced planning strategies and maintain resources the advisory team can use on complex cases.
  • Update plans and recommendations as clients’ circumstances, priorities, and goals evolve.

Qualifications and Role Details

  • Serve as a resource to advisors on complex investment and planning questions.
  • Review client statements, identify issues, and translate findings into practical next steps.
  • Prepare for client meetings, participate in discussions, and take ownership of assigned client relationships.
  • Help develop market commentary, client education, and firm communications.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Series 7 license.
  • Prior experience within a wealth management or financial advisory firm.
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with financial data and models.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CFP®, CFA, or CPA credential, or active progress toward one of these credentials.
  • MBA or another advanced graduate degree.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and financial planning software.
  • Additional relevant professional designations and a commitment to continuing education.
