Our client is a private equity-backed organization in the healthcare industry and is looking to bring on a Financial Analyst. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical professional looking to expand their FP&A experience while partnering directly with senior leadership in a fast-paced environment.
This role is fully on-site in Tempe, AZ, and is NOT OPEN FOR RELOCATION!
What You’ll Do
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities across the organization
- Prepare financial analyses, variance reporting, and KPI dashboards to drive business decisions
- Analyze operational and financial trends, identifying opportunities for improvement
- Assist with monthly reporting packages and executive-level presentations
- Partner with business leaders across departments to provide financial insights and recommendations
- Contribute to process improvements, reporting enhancements, and ad hoc financial projects
- Support internal audit requests and ensure adherence to established controls and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field required
- Master’s degree or MBA preferred
- 1+ year of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, accounting, or related analytical roles (must include budgeting and forecasting)
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis
- Advanced Excel skills required
- ERP or financial reporting system experience preferred
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the confidence to interact with executives and senior leadership
- Highly organized with strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities
