Financial Planning And Analysis Manager

The FP&A Manager will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, including Accounting, Financial Reporting, Treasury, Investor Relations, and Operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building and improving financial models, reporting processes, and forecasting capabilities within a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze property and portfolio-level financial results to identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities.
  • Monitor the financial and operational performance of operating partners and support ongoing relationship management.
  • Review financial statements, market data, industry trends, reimbursement activity, and regulatory developments impacting portfolio performance.
  • Prepare financial analyses, reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Calculate and monitor financial covenants and identify potential compliance concerns.
  • Review capital improvement projects, including budgets, expenditures, and their impact on property performance.
  • Track key requirements, reporting obligations, amendments, and important dates associated with lease and financing agreements.
  • Assist with evaluating potential acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings, and other portfolio transactions.
  • Perform financial and credit analysis on prospective and existing operating partners.
  • Develop financial models, charts, written summaries, and internal materials supporting investment decisions.
  • Monitor expected revenue, cash receipts, contractual adjustments, and other portfolio-related financial activity.
  • Maintain financial forecasts and revenue schedules based on changes to agreements, financing arrangements, and capital projects.
  • Support senior team members with special projects and ad hoc financial analysis.
  • Participate in property visits as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor‚Äôs degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience within FP&A, accounting, financial reporting, treasury, transaction support, or a similar corporate finance function.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills, including the ability to interpret financial statements and operating results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to organize and communicate financial information clearly to various stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a professional approach to external relationship management.
