Lunt Associates Insights Firm | Cincinnati, Ohio

Lunt Associates is seeking an accomplished, full-time MARKET RESEARCH & STRATEGY leader to help shape the next chapter of our woman-owned firm.

This is an opportunity for an accomplished insights leader with a proven ability to build and maintain client relationships as you deliver research programs that answer tough business challenges. You will deepen blue chip client partnerships, build selective new-business opportunities, lead and develop our experienced team, and help set vision for a well-established boutique firm as it moves through its next stage of leadership and growth.

About Lunt

Lunt Associates Inc. is a trusted insights and strategy partner known for meaningful relationships and meaningful impact. For over 30 years we have built long-term client partnerships by combining deep functional research experience, strategic perspective, and a highly relational approach.

Our work includes leading sophisticated research across Healthcare, Medical Device, CPG, service and related industries.

We are intentionally a boutique firm and our goal is to remain high-quality, high integrity, and values first rather than pursue growth for growth’s sake. We believe that enduring client relationships, excellent work, a healthy team, and values-based leadership matter as much as financial results.

The Opportunity

The Chief Growth Officer will help lead Lunt Associates through its next chapter – deepening the relationships that have built our business, selectively growing the firm, and strengthening the team and organization for the future.

This is a hands-on, client-facing leadership role in a boutique insights and strategy firm. You will work closely with Lunt’s current leaders to grow priority accounts, build high-quality new client relationships, develop people, and assume increasing responsibility for the firm’s performance and direction.

This role is full-time, based in Cincinnati, primarily remote with some travel.

What You Will Do

  • Deepen and expand relationships with priority healthcare, medical-device, CPG, and service-industry clients.
  • Identify and develop selective new-business opportunities that fit Lunt’s capabilities, quality standards, margins, and delivery capacity.
  • Build and execute a practical growth-and-capacity plan with the CEO and President.
  • Lead, coach, and develop an experienced team while helping build the next generation of leaders.
  • Strengthen team role clarity, accountability, decision-making, and operating discipline.
  • Bring sound judgment to client selection, pricing, project economics, profitability, and long-term growth choices.
  • Protect and build on what makes Lunt distinctive-our values, client relationships, quality of work, and point of difference—while introducing thoughtful change where it will make the firm stronger.

You will be comfortable moving between senior-client conversations, complex healthcare-insights work, business-development activity, team coaching, and practical operating decisions.

First-Year Priorities

During the first 12-18 months, you will:

  • Earn the trust of Lunt’s clients, team members, and current leaders.
  • Develop clear account plans for priority client relationships and identify the most appropriate opportunities for growth.
  • Improve the quality, focus, and visibility of the business-development pipeline.
  • Help ensure that growth is profitable, deliverable, and consistent with Lunt’s commitment to outstanding client service and sustainable team workload.
  • Clarify accountability and support the development of both long-tenured senior staff and emerging leaders.
  • Help shape the longer-term evolution of leadership responsibilities and succession in partnership with the owners.

Required Qualifications

  • Significant experience in market research, consumer insights, and strategic consulting.
  • Substantial healthcare-insights experience is required, including meaningful work with medical-device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare-provider, healthcare-services, or related healthcare clients.
  • Proven ability to establish credibility with senior clients and provide a consultative point of view on complex research, strategy, and business decisions.
  • Broad research and insights fluency across qualitative, quantitative, strategic, innovation, brand, customer, and related engagements.
  • Demonstrated success building and sustaining senior client relationships, expanding accounts, originating high-quality business, and delivering profitable growth.
  • Experience leading accomplished teams, developing people, establishing accountability, and navigating organizational change.
  • Strong commercial and operating judgment, including pricing, project economics, margins, resource planning, and capacity management.
  • A collaborative, entrepreneurial style suited to a smaller, privately held business where senior leaders are strategic, client-facing, and hands-on.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
  • Current residence in—or willingness to relocate to—the Cincinnati area.

The Leader We Seek

You are thoughtful, decisive, highly relational, and commercially capable. You respect the experience and institutional knowledge of a long-tenured team, while also bringing the clarity, courage, and judgment to evolve the organization and make difficult decisions when necessary.

You see growth as a way to deepen client impact, strengthen the team, and build a durable business—not simply as a reason to add headcount or pursue revenue at any cost.

Lunt’s culture is relationship-driven, values-based, and faith-informed. We welcome a leader who brings integrity, humility, joy, respect, and professionalism to that environment.

Compensation and benefits

Lunt offers a competitive compensation and benefits package for this role, including:

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience and role scope.
  • Annual performance incentive tied to business and leadership performance.
  • Potential long-term incentive opportunity based on sustained value creation.

Additional details regarding compensation, benefits, and long-term incentives will be discussed with qualified candidates.

Why Lunt

  • More than 30 years of success as an established, woman-owned insights and strategy company.
  • Meaningful healthcare, medical-device, and CPG client work with blue chip clients who remain loyal to Lunt for 15 years and beyond.
  • A strong reputation with business built on long-term client partnerships rather than transactional project volume.
  • Significant influence over client relationships, growth strategy, people, organizational design, and the firm’s future direction.
  • The entrepreneurial experience of a smaller firm without traditional start-up risk.
  • A rare opportunity to help shape the next generation of leadership in a successful, values-based business.
