What the job looks like
- Own the editorial calendar for a B2B tech, health or education brand
- Run SEO and AI search visibility: Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, structured content
- Refresh and consolidate old content so it ranks, not just add more
- Use ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini in the workflow, with a human editor’s judgment on every piece
- Write and edit thought leadership, product content and sales enablement
- Report on organic growth in GA4, Search Console and Semrush or Ahrefs
What I’m looking for
- 4+ years in content marketing with SEO results you can show
- A portfolio with traffic or pipeline numbers attached
- WordPress xhmxlyz or a comparable CMS, comfortably
- Experience editing other writers or managing freelancers
- Based in the Triangle or ready to move
Nice to have
- Product marketing experience
- Short-form video or social content
