A rapidly growing fiber‑to‑the‑home infrastructure provider, the business has expanded into 10 U.S. states in just three years. Following significant growth, the company is entering its next phase of scale, with a renewed focus on optimizing sales performance and channel strategy.
Recent restructuring of the sales organization has created an opportunity to bring in a senior commercial leader to build and execute a scalable, high‑performing go to market engine.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a Chief Sales Officer or Chief Revenue Officer to lead sales execution and drive the next phase of growth. This is a highly visible, build and scale leadership role, tasked with transforming and expanding the current sales function, optimizing channel performance, and accelerating revenue growth. The successful candidate will take ownership of a multi‑channel sales model and play a critical role in shaping the company’s long term commercial strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and scale the overall sales organization and revenue strategy
- Rebuild and expand the sales function from a lean foundation, identifying gaps and hiring key talent
- Drive performance across a multi‑channel sales model, including:
- Internal sales team (12–15 employees)
- Door‑to‑door sales (currently 40, previously 100)
- Indirect partner network (7 vendors managing 300 – 450 representatives)
- Develop and execute a partner‑led growth strategy, maximizing effectiveness of indirect channels
- Establish clear KPIs, forecasting, and performance management frameworks
- Deliver rapid, measurable improvements in sales execution and revenue growth
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with leadership to align sales with broader business objectives
- (For CRO candidates) Oversee and align marketing strategy with sales execution
Candidate Profile
- Proven C‑suite sales leadership experience with a strong track record of execution and growth
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale sales organizations, not just manage established teams
- Strong existing relationships with indirect sales partners and channel ecosystems
- Experience in fiber to the home, telecom, or adjacent field services industries preferred
- Open to candidates from broader door‑to‑door or field sales environments with transferable expertise
- Track record of thriving in high‑growth, fast‑paced environments
- Hands‑on, entrepreneurial, and comfortable creating structure from scratch
- Ability to make immediate impact and drive change quickly
- Experience within larger organizations is valued, particularly candidates seeking a more agile, high‑impact environment
Reporting & Structure
- Initial team of 4 – 5 direct reports, with responsibility to build and scale the broader organization
- Opportunity to design and implement the future‑state sales structure
Compensation
- Base Salary: $250,000
- Bonus: 30% performance‑based
Equity
- Granted after 3–6 months based on performance
- Structured as a profit interest model
- Quantum aligned with base salary
