Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning & Analysis

  • Analyze clients’ financial goals, current financial positions, investment portfolios, and risk profiles.
  • Develop customized recommendations aligned with client objectives, time horizons, and preferences.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities within financial plans, including insurance and investment needs.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial plans consistent with advisor best practices and planning philosophy.
  • Create investment proposals, asset allocation recommendations, and Investment Policy Statements (IPS).
  • Prepare Morningstar reports and other portfolio analysis materials.

Advisor & Client Support

  • Prepare materials for client and prospect meetings, including:
  • Financial plans
  • Investment summaries
  • Consolidated performance reports
  • In-force insurance illustrations
  • Client review presentations
  • Gather research, annual reports, marketing materials, and supporting documentation for advisor meetings.
  • Assist advisors in responding to client questions and servicing requests.
  • Consult with advisors on the presentation of planning recommendations and investment strategies.
  • Provide guidance and support to advisors and staff regarding planning-related service requests.

Insurance & Investment Case Preparation

  • Prepare insurance illustrations and insurance proposals.
  • Develop investment recommendations and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure all client deliverables are accurate, complete, and compliant with firm standards.

QualificationsRequired

  • New Jersey Life & Health Insurance License
  • FINRA Series 6 License
  • FINRA Series 63 License
  • 3+ years of financial planning or wealth management experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Commitment to continuing professional development

Preferred

  • Prior experience supporting Financial Advisors or Wealth Management Advisors
  • FINRA Series 7 License
  • Experience with Morningstar, NetX360, CRM systems, or financial planning software

Compensation

  • Competitive salary based on experience, $100,000 – $150,000
  • 3-6+ years of relevant experience considered
