Senior Data Scientist role at HPE with work location in Bangalore, India, with an expectation of working onsite from an HPE office. The role involves working with data scientists and domain experts to apply machine learning algorithms to wireless and wired network data, and evolving existing AI Insight modules in Aruba Central according to customer needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or another data-oriented discipline
- Four to Ten years industry experience as data scientist
- Expert python coder
- Fluent user of Apache Spark
- Working knowledge of data structures (array, maps, trees, stacks, queues) and algorithms (recursion, dynamic programming, backtracking)
- Working knowledge of machine learning algorithms (linear regression, decision trees, random forests, clustering, anomaly detection)
- Descriptive statistics (central tendency, variability, distribution)
- Gen AI – Deep understanding of LLMs and fine-tuning LLMs
- Agentic AI
- Clear technical communication
- Ability and willingness to learn quickly
