Business Development Manager, Airlines

We are seeking a results-driven aviation and travel expert to acquire new merchant accounts within the aviation economy. The successful candidate will own the end-to-end sales cycle for a targeted portfolio of EMEA Headquartered airlines, promoting tailored payment, payout, and embedded finance solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in sales and account management with direct experience in payments, fintech, or SaaS, specifically targeting airlines and large market travel accounts.
  • Deep understanding of the payment, operational, and growth challenges specific to the travel and airline sector, including knowledge of key travel and airline industry players and solutions (GDS’, IATA, BSP etc).
  • Demonstrable experience selling complex solutions to c-suite, heads of finance, treasury, heads of payments or technical decision-makers.
  • Ability to operate effectively as an independent contributor (IC), managing a strategic pipeline with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and executive presentation skills.
  • Proficient in English; proficiency in another European language is a plus.
