Business Intelligence and Management Information Developer job description summary. This role is responsible for working closely with business units to understand requirements, maintaining and enhancing existing tools and systems, and building relationships with stakeholders. The job requires strong technical skills in MS SQL Server, MSBI, Power BI, Azure Data Factory, and Azure SQL Database, as well as good communication and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

  • Work closely with business units to thoroughly understand requirements and translate functional needs into detailed technical specifications.
  • Maintain, support, and enhance existing tools, systems, and processes.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and drive automation wherever possible.
  • Build and maintain strong, sustainable relationships with stakeholders and internal MI consumers while effectively managing expectations.
  • Document, review, and update processes to support knowledge sharing and team training.
  • Design, develop, and implement frameworks and solutions for Management Information (MI) reporting.
  • Understand end-to-end workflows and effectively manage priorities across tasks and deliverables.
  • Perform basic support, troubleshooting, and debugging in test and production environments.
  • Apply analytical skills to validate and test outputs, ensuring accuracy and data quality.
