Marketing Lead

Role Overview

The Marketing Lead will own the marketing function end-to-end, responsible for lead generation, strategic direction, budgeting, and continuous improvement of the marketing department. The role will sit on the leadership team and be accountable for translating company-wide goals into a marketing strategy and execution plan that drives B2C growth.

What You Will Do

The Marketing Lead will lead generation, set marketing strategic direction, build quarterly plans, negotiate marketing agreements, and maintain oversight of brand standards. They will also manage and optimize the marketing budget, review incoming initiatives against budget and strategic alignment, and determine budget for ambassador programs and other strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of marketing experience, with at least 2+ years in a leadership/management role. They will have experience owning marketing strategy and execution in a small-to-mid-size company, and a proven track record managing a marketing budget for ROA/ROI. The candidate will also have excellent communication skills and a strong grasp of digital marketing fundamentals.

Requirements

• 7+ years of marketing experience
• at least 2+ years in a leadership/management role
• experience owning marketing strategy and execution in a small-to-mid-size company
• proven track record managing a marketing budget for ROA/ROI
• experience negotiating vendor/agency agreements
• experience managing people, including junior team members and technical contractors
• comfort working in a company that runs on EOS
• strong grasp of digital marketing fundamentals: content, email/SMS, SEO/SEM, marketing automation, and website/landing page coordination
• excellent communication skills
