The Data Engineer will partner with the insights team to gather requirements and work across technology, finance, product, sales, and wider data teams to ensure seamless data ingestion, processing, and maintenance of existing and new datasets. The individual will play a central role in the team’s delivery of actionable data-enabled insights that will empower Reuters to accelerate growth globally.
Requirements
- Build, maintain and optimize data modelling, including cloud data ingestion, outflow & enrichment workflows.
- Build and maintain data processing workflows feeding our analytics systems.
- Optimize data pipelines from various systems.
- Develop set processes such as user engagement, user segmentation, content usage analysis feeding our analytics systems.
- Facilitate reliable integrations with internal systems and third-party APIs.
- Provide continued development support for existing analytics applications and platforms.
- Spot anomalies and ensure clean data on all systems.
- Proficient in performance tuning of complex stored procedures.
- Research and develop statistical learning models for data analysis.
