What gets RevOps job ads clicked: 2026 data for recruiters

What 3,792 RevOps Job Listings From 2026 Tell Recruiters About Getting More Applicants

Quick answer: We looked at 3,792 Revenue Operations job listings published on RevOps Careers between January and October 2026. Listings that show a salary range got about twice the apply-click rate of listings that don’t (1.89% vs 0.96%). Remote roles got more than three times the rate of hybrid or on-site roles. Fewer than 1 in 10 “Manager” ads say the person will manage anyone. We also had ReLoop.me read the most-viewed ads of the year. All five read so far scored low on requirement inflation. One title understated the job, and the most-viewed Manager role turned out to have no team.

If you hire RevOps people, your job ad competes with thousands of others that look almost the same. This article covers what the 2026 data says about the ads candidates actually click on, what employers are asking for, and where the wording of an ad and the real job drift apart.

Where does the data come from?

Every job in the Revenue Operations category on RevOps Careers that was posted between January and late October 2026: 4,368 listings, or 3,792 after removing repeats (same title at the same company). For anything based on the text of the ad (pay, tools, years of experience) we used only the 1,966 listings with a full job description of at least 1,500 characters. The rest are short summaries.

Engagement numbers come from the job board’s own stats: unique views of each job page, and clicks on the “Apply for this job” button. We only counted jobs with at least 20 views. Two limits to keep in mind: some views come from bots, and the comparisons below show correlation, not cause. A remote job with a salary range might get more clicks for other reasons too.

Do salary ranges get more applicants?

Yes, in our data by a wide margin. 65% of full job ads include a pay range. Those ads got 529 apply clicks from 28,006 views (1.89%). Ads without a range got 99 clicks from 10,360 views (0.96%).

Job adsJobs (20+ views)ViewsApply clicksClick rate
With a pay range88728,0065291.89%
Without a pay range36210,360990.96%

In the US, the median midpoint of posted ranges lines up with seniority roughly like this (these are small samples, so treat them as a guide, not a benchmark):

Title levelUS ads with a rangeMedian midpoint
Analyst21$100k
Specialist / Admin / Coordinator12$101k
Manager82$127k
Lead / Principal29$140k
Senior Manager15$178k
Director92$185k
Head of17$235k
VP / Chief22$275k

Does remote still matter?

This is the biggest gap in the data. Remote jobs got 404 apply clicks from 12,995 views (3.11%). Hybrid jobs got 0.83% and on-site or unspecified jobs 0.92%. If the role can be remote, put that in the title and the location field, where people scanning a list will see it.

Hybrid1150.83%
On-site or not stated7330.92%

Which seniority levels attract the most clicks?

Junior and mid-level roles convert best. Senior leadership roles get plenty of views but fewer clicks, probably because fewer readers qualify.

Specialist / Admin / Coordinator32132.58%
Analyst29332.08%
Senior (individual contributor)28042.00%

Lead / Principal44151.43%
Director66471.10%
Head of16650.95%
VP / Chief24380.78%

One oddity: “Head of” roles ask for a median of 5 years, two fewer than Director roles, but are paid more. That fits startups using “Head of RevOps” for the first ops hire. If that’s your role, say whether the person will build a team or work alone.

Is “Manager” in the title doing what you think?

Manager is the most common RevOps title (823 listings this year). But only 9% of Manager-titled ads use language about managing people, such as direct reports, leading a team or hiring. For Director and above it’s 17%. Our check looks for explicit wording, so it will miss some, but the pattern matches what ReLoop found below: a “Manager” title often means owning a function, not a team.

That’s fine, as long as the ad says so. Candidates who want to lead people and candidates who want to stay hands-on read the same title differently. One sentence (“this role has no direct reports today”) saves both sides a wasted interview.

What tools and skills do RevOps job ads ask for?

Mentioned in the adShare of full ads
Salesforce51%
AI (AI, LLMs, agents, machine learning)49%
HubSpot27%
Excel or Google Sheets26%
SQL18%
Tableau14%
Gong10%
Power BI10%
CPQ9%
Looker8%
ZoomInfo or Apollo7%
Zapier, Workato or n8n6%
Clay6%

Nearly half of all RevOps ads now mention AI. Mentioning it doesn’t lift clicks on its own (1.55% with, 1.71% without), so describe the actual AI work instead. The work most ads ask for is dashboards and reporting (71%), cross-functional work with stakeholders (67%), forecasting (54%) and pipeline management (54%).

One in five full ads (20%) still uses phrases like “fast-paced”, “self-starter”, “wear many hats” or “hit the ground running”. They tell a candidate nothing about the job.

What did ReLoop.me find in the most-viewed ads?

ReLoop.me reads job ads and reports the real seniority, whether the title matches the scope, and how inflated the requirements are. We ran its Role Quick Check on the most-viewed Revenue Operations ads of 2026. Five of the ten reads are in; the rest will be added here.

Role (as titled)Level readTitle vs scopeInflation
Revenue Operations Manager (US, remote)Demonstrated, individual contributorAlignedLow
Remote Manager, Customer Operations (RevOps)Manager, people managerAlignedLow
Revenue Operations Analyst (LatAm, remote)Demonstrated, individual contributorAlignedLow
Revenue Operations (leader role, New York)Senior Manager, people managerTitle lower than scopeLow
Revenue Operations Analyst (London, hybrid)Emerging (entry level)AlignedLow

Three things from the reads are useful for anyone writing an ad:

  • The most-viewed Manager ad of the year read as a hands-on individual contributor role: Salesforce admin, revenue reporting and contract workflows, with no team. The employer’s pay range ($75k to $80k) sits well below the $127k median for US Manager ads.
  • One ad said the hire “may be hired at Manager or Director level” under a generic title. ReLoop read the scope as Senior Manager. A range of levels is honest, but put it in the title or the first paragraph.
  • The LatAm analyst ad listed SQL, Google Apps Script, advanced Excel and API experience as must-haves for an analyst role, with pay described only as “competitive”. ReLoop flagged the bundle. If some of those are nice-to-haves, say so.

Reads are an automated, AI-generated Role Quick Check by ReLoop.me. They are indicative, not calibrated, and describe the ad, not the people who apply. ReLoop’s Fair Read Charter rules out using them to rank or screen candidates.

A checklist for your next RevOps job ad

  • Show a pay range. It roughly doubled apply clicks in our data.
  • If the role is remote, put “Remote” in the title or location field.
  • Say whether a “Manager” has direct reports.
  • Match the years you ask for to the level: about 3 for analysts, 5 for managers, 7 for directors.
  • Name the systems the person will own (Salesforce, HubSpot, CPQ, BI tool) and separate must-haves from nice-to-haves.
  • Describe the AI work concretely if there is any, instead of just mentioning AI.
  • Cut “fast-paced”, “self-starter” and “wear many hats”.
