The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services has a career opportunity within the Business and Financial Services Division in Helena for a Financial Analyst to manage the finance mechanism to obtain, track, and monitor approvals and funding for complex IT projects.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of financial theory and principles of business management operations and practices.
  • Ability to build complex financial models, databases, and Excel templates.
  • Advanced skill in Excel with strong fluency in formulas and functions (e.g. Pivot Tables, Vlookup, charts, tables, and/or other related software packages).
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or accounting.
  • Five years of progressively responsible experience in financial or technical analysis.
