Public Sector Account Manager

Proofpoint is a global leader in human- and agent-centric cybersecurity seeking an experienced Public Sector Account Manager to join our growing SLED Middle Enterprise team.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience selling complex enterprise class software in the Public Sector
  • Experience selling to either Mid-Market or Enterprise level accounts
  • Track record of sustained success/over-achievement in a sales role
  • Strong phone and interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written) as well as organizational skills
  • Experience managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting through negotiation and closing
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or other CRM is a plus
