Data Engineer – Cloud Platform (f/m/div.)

The Bosch group is searching for a Data Engineer to support their team in designing, building, and maintaining high-performance data pipelines on their cloud-based Data Platform. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Computer Science or a related field and experience in data engineering within cloud-based data platforms or analytics environments. Responsibilities include architecting and innovating data pipelines, mastering data modeling, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and sharing best practices.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Software Engineering, or a comparable field
  • Hands-on experience in data engineering, within cloud-based data platforms or analytics environments
  • Experience with Python, Spark, SQL, Databricks, Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure Purview
  • Understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data architecture
  • Familiarity with DevOps principles in agile development environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent English and Portuguese (spoken and written)
  • Collaborative, proactive, and enthusiastic about learning new technologies and sharing knowledge within an international team
