Music Label Business Development Manager for Japan is responsible for driving in-market music business development strategy for YouTube, collaborating with commercial labels, and building productive relationships with external partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships
  • Ability to communicate in Japanese and English fluently
  • Experience with data analysis, public presentations, and data management
  • Understanding of technological concepts, financial models, and music copyright
  • Ability to interface with partners, solve critical problems through analysis, and grow in a dynamic and collaborative environment
  • Ability to consult and communicate cross-functionally and externally, think strategically about issues, and convert insights into straightforward, timely actions
