Agentic AI Data Scientist (Wholesale Banking)

ING is a global financial institution looking for a Agentic AI Data Scientist to contribute to building algorithmic, 10x data-driven products for wholesale banking. The role involves scoping, developing, validating, and documenting Agentic AI solutions, particularly in the KYC domain. The successful candidate will work as part of a cross-functional analytics squad and will be responsible for developing deep expertise in applying Agentic AI techniques to perform automated tasks in the KYC domain.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with Agentic AI and LLM techniques.
  • A degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, Econometrics, or a related field; MSc or PhD is a plus.
  • At least 3+ years of work experience in the Data Science field, covering: Data science methods and technologies, Statistical modeling, Machine learning applied to business problems and/or innovative data-driven products
  • Strong proficiency in Python (required)
  • Solid knowledge of a wide range of machine learning algorithms, from classical econometric models to state-of-the-art neural networks, and the ability to match them to business problems
