The Financial Analyst role at Standard Chartered offers a comprehensive opportunity to engage with diverse business lines and key internal stakeholders. This position provides broad exposure to end-to-end finance processes within a dynamic and highly regulated environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 3-4 years of hands-on experience in finance or accounting roles, ideally within a bank or a reputable consulting firm serving banking clients.
  • Fluency in both spoken and written Turkish and English to effectively communicate with local and international stakeholders.
  • Proven capability in teamwork and strong intra-team communication skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of fundamental accounting principles and financial reporting standards (GAAP).
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and financial data analysis techniques.
  • Demonstrated interest in the banking sector and regulatory environments, geared towards operating within controlled financial ecosystems.
  • Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting stringent deadlines.
  • A proactive attitude, high level of responsibility, and a strong inclination for continual learning and improvement.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse international teams and adapt to comprehensive group reporting processes.
