Data Analyst

Role Overview

The Data Analyst will join the Business Analytics & Data Solutions team at Rhenus Warehousing Solutions Germany, contributing to the development of the Data Lakehouse platform in the Microsoft Cloud. The role involves creating data models, coordinating with internal customers, and analyzing large amounts of data to derive recommendations for action.

What You Will Do

The Data Analyst will create data models, develop reports with MS Power BI, train data experts, and prepare, analyze, and interpret large amounts of data.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a STEM subject or professional experience in data & analytics, with good English and German language skills. Experience in modelling, analyzing, and visualizing data with Microsoft Power BI is an advantage.

Requirements

• Degree in a STEM subject or professional experience in data & analytics
• Good English and German language skills
• Experience in modelling, analyzing, and visualizing data with Microsoft Power BI
• Practical experience in a cloud-based data processing platform (e.g. Databricks or Snowflake)
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, and Spark
