The General Sales Manager will oversee branch sales, supervise sales staff, and manage a team of independent contractors. Responsibilities include overseeing branch sales, supervising sales staff, managing a team of independent contractors, leading educational sales meetings, performing on-site sales classes, addressing customer issues, and filling in for sales staff during time off or high-volume periods.

- 5+ years of related experience including experience managing and driving performance, leading teams, and managing employees
- In-home sales experience needed
- Experience within the home improvement industry is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with diverse flooring products and installation processes (hardwood, carpet, tile, laminate, etc.) is a plus
- BA/BS or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Basic Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Must be able to effectively articulate and train one on one or small groups
