Role Overview

The Business Development Manager, Neuro will deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives to meet or exceed on those objectives. They will create a pre-call plan using SMART objectives and execute post-call evaluation to continuously improve sales performance. The role requires building trusted customer relationships and achieving win-win agreements between AbbVie and customers.

The main day-to-day responsibilities include delivering sales performance, creating pre-call plans, executing post-call evaluations, building customer relationships, and identifying disease state experts and speakers/advocates to maximize brand performance.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in selling

  • Strategic and critical thinking capabilities
  • Proactive identification of customer style/behavior and adaptation of selling approach
  • Operational effectiveness in a matrix environment
  • Commercial pharmaceutical industry experience in physician/account based selling, training, managed health care, or marketing
  • English language proficiency verbally and in writing
