Head of Business Development to HBV

Role Overview

We are looking for a Head of Business Development to HBV, a public procurement function of the Swedish public housing companies. The role involves developing the team, work methods, and common direction for the unit’s work, combining leadership, business development, and creating consensus between different parts of HBV.

What You Will Do

As head of the unit, you will lead and prioritize the unit’s work, develop the employees, and create a structure for analysis, prioritization, implementation, and follow-up of the unit’s development work. You will also represent the unit’s assignment and business interests in the organization with integrity and perseverance.

• Are structured and meticulous – you clarify responsibility and ensure that decisions and initiatives are implemented and followed up.

• Have good business acumen, can balance different member needs with business acumen, and evaluate usefulness, feasibility, and effect.
• Understand how data, analysis, and AI can be used as support for better decision-making and more efficient work methods.
• Understand the relationships between sustainability, risk, and business value.
• Express yourself very well in speech and writing and have a good reputation.
• Have relevant academic education in, for example, procurement, technology, economics, or other orientation that is considered equivalent.
