Role Overview
AECOM Canada is seeking a motivated and analytical Financial Analyst to join our Finance Development Program in a new position to be based in Markham, ON. This role is designed for recent graduates who are interested in building a career in finance, project accounting, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), and business operations.
What You Will Do
The successful candidate will gain exposure to financial planning, project financial management, internal controls, and operational finance processes while supporting some of Canada’s largest infrastructure and professional services projects.

This role will work closely with Finance Managers, Project Accounting teams and FP&A professionals to help drive financial performance across AECOM’s Canadian businesses and provides a unique opportunity to develop technical, analytical, and business partnering skills while learning the fundamentals of project-based financial management.
Requirements
- Recent university graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
- Working toward CPA designation or interest in pursuing CPA.
- Internship, co-op, or relevant work experience in finance, accounting, consulting, engineering, or professional services is an asset.
