Budget/Financial Analyst, Financial Management Specialist

Role Overview

The Budget/Financial Analyst / Financial Management Specialist provides financial management support to DoD acquisition and program management offices. This role is responsible for developing and monitoring spend plans, supporting Program Objective Memorandum (POM) submissions, maintaining auditable financial records, and providing analytical support across the program lifecycle.

What You Will Do

Assist with development of spend plans, budget exhibits, financial action requests, and below threshold realignments. Create and maintain financial tracking documents with accurate and timely updates. Coordinate with stakeholders to accurately document contract and reimbursable funding, equipment exchanges and transfers, capital improvements, delivered assets, and other required financial data.

The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of related finance or business analysis experience, a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or related discipline, and proficiency in standard financial software and reporting tools.
