Role Overview

The Director of Business Development is responsible for driving profitable growth across the Engineered Products division, with primary focus on upgrade, modification, and related aerospace and defense products and services.

What You Will Do

Develop and execute business development and sales strategies, identify and advance new market opportunities, build and maintain strategic customer relationships, and support opportunities from initial identification through proposal, negotiation, award, and transition to execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in business development, sales, program management, or a related function within the aerospace and defense industry
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Demonstrated experience developing growth strategies and managing complex sales opportunities, proposals, negotiations, and strategic customer relationships
  • Strong knowledge of aerospace and defense markets, long-cycle sales processes, and domestic and international customer environments
  • Demonstrated financial and commercial acumen, including experience with pricing, forecasting, business cases, financial analysis, and opportunity evaluation

Benefits

  • Salary: $175,000 – $195,000 DOE
  • Up to 50% domestic travel
