Role Overview

Lead the Financial Planning & Analysis function, shaping the financial strategy, planning, forecasting and performance insight that supports Allianz’s growth and profitability.

What You Will Do

Deliver high-quality financial analysis, insight and challenge to support strategic business decisions, lead the monthly and quarterly financial results cycle, and develop meaningful management information and performance reporting for Executive and senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant or Actuary
• Previous leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams
• Strong Financial Planning & Analysis expertise within a complex organisation
• Strong knowledge of the insurance industry and insurance profit and loss reporting
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and operational data
• Knowledge of data visualisation and advanced management information reporting techniques
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups and financial modelling
• Experience delivering planning, budgeting and forecasting processes
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to senior audiences
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience influencing and constructively challenging senior leaders
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality outputs within tight deadlines
• Experience building collaborative relationships across Finance, Actuarial, Pricing and wider business functions
• Strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking capability
