Role Overview
Alloy’s People team is small, senior, and rebuilding the function from the systems up. The role is the first of its kind at Alloy, allowing the engineer to define the architecture rather than inherit it. Alloy operates in a hybrid-work environment, with employees onsite three days a week.
What You Will Do
The People Operations Engineer will own the end-to-end architecture of Alloy’s People tech stack, evaluate and implement AI-native tooling, automate manual work, and build integrations and data pipelines.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience in People Systems, People Analytics, HRIS, or a comparable technical operations role, with hands-on depth in modern HR tech stacks, strong SQL and data modeling skills, and experience leading system migrations or consolidations.
Requirements
- 4+ years in People Systems, People Analytics, HRIS, or a comparable technical operations role
- Hands-on depth with modern HR tech stacks such as Rippling and Ashby, or comparable HRIS and ATS platforms
- Strong SQL and data modeling skills, with reporting experience in Looker, Tableau, or a similar BI tool
- A track record of leading system migrations or consolidations
- Sharp judgment on data privacy, access, and governance in a regulated or compliance-sensitive environment
- The ability to translate technical systems work into business impact for non-technical stakeholders
