Financial Analyst III

Role Overview

The Financial Analyst III will perform complex budget execution functions in support of USMS programs and administrative budget areas, ensuring effective financial management and budget oversight.

What You Will Do

Advises USMS leadership on budgetary actions, monitors obligation and expenditure trends, maintains complex databases, and prepares budget briefing materials.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Must be able to undergo and pass a Tier 2 Public Trust background investigation (BI) and have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or finance.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience reviewing and analyzing annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, program policies, and procedures
• Experience in analyzing information and making recommendations
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in budget execution during a fiscal year budget cycle
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills (V-look up, Pivot Tables, etc.)
