Data Scientist for Spare Parts

Role Overview

Join the Supply Chain and Operations Performance Team at Alstom to build a tool to analyze spare parts needs and make predictions for all sites/clusters/regions. Define an intelligent stock for each part to maximize client service rate and optimize global stock value.

What You Will Do

Collect and consolidate large datasets, evaluate data quality, design dashboards, participate in smart pricing initiatives, develop a stock management tool, and support AI and digitalization initiatives.

Requirements

• Graduate Engineer from a prestigious engineering school / IUT – Data Science / Data Analysis specialization
• Familiarity with data science tools
• Experience with time series and prediction methods (ARIMA, Prophet, XGBoost, Deep Learning, intermittent demand forecasting)
• Ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions and communicate data-based recommendations to non-technical stakeholders
