Senior Business Development Manager

Role Overview

Alstom is seeking a full-time Senior Business Development Manager in Cairo to shape business strategy and drive sustainable growth by fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders and identifying new opportunities. You’ll work alongside a collaborative team across tendering, marketing, and project management.

What You Will Do

Develop and manage strategic relationships with customers, government authorities, funding agencies, consultants, and industry partners. Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through proactive stakeholder engagement and market intelligence, influence project development and procurement strategies, and define business development strategies aligned with regional plans.

Requirements

• A degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
• 15 to 20 years of professional experience, ideally in a project-based environment
• Experience working closely with governmental entities and public sector stakeholders
• Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills
• Good knowledge of public laws and regulations (e.g., civil law, Law No. 182 of 2018)
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt information to diverse audiences
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Self-starting capability and ability to work autonomously
