Business Data Analyst

Role Overview

Join a private markets asset manager to help expand commercial data product and data available for investment teams. Work closely with product management team to define gaps in dataset, structure research and maintenance plan, and source missing data.

What You Will Do

Understand available data, extract, clean, and analyze data from multiple internal systems and databases, build and maintain dashboards and reports, and present findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Computer Science / IT (B.Tech / MCA / B.Sc)
• 1-4 years of experience as an investment data/business analyst
• Expertise in SQL, advanced Excel, and data analysis
• Claude/Claude code or other AI tools experience
• Working knowledge of prompt-based or AI-assisted data tooling
• Basic knowledge of Python
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Curiosity and a desire to understand not just “what” the data shows, but “why”
