Role Overview
The Amivero team is seeking a highly skilled Financial Data Analyst to support a senior government leader. The role requires working independently as a one-person team, providing accurate financial analysis, reporting, and insights that will inform executive-level decision-making.
What You Will Do
The ideal candidate will collect, organize, and analyze complex financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and develop, maintain, and automate advanced Excel models, dashboards, and reports to support executive decision-making.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, data analytics, or related field
- 1–3+ years of professional experience in financial analysis, data analytics, or related
- Government Federal financials experience preferred
- Advanced Excel skills required (pivot tables, complex formulas, Power Query, Power Pivot, VBA/Macros preferred)
- Strong data analysis and visualization skills; experience with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex data to senior leaders in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to work independently as a one-person team, managing multiple projects
