Data Engineer I

Reporting to the Manager, Data Analytics, the candidate will design, build, integrate, and maintain data from multiple sources to facilitate data-driven decision making. Key responsibilities include gathering requirements from business partners, creating data pipelines, deploying new data sets, and maintaining existing environments.

Requirements

• Detail-oriented self-starter with initiative and follow-through.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to learn and develop proficiency with additional tools as business needs evolve.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to understand business issues and interpret data in a way that provides actionable insights.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technology degree with a focus on development and coding.
• Working knowledge of Python and SQL; proficiency in at least one or more of the following languages: Python, R, HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
