AI Operations Engineer

Role Overview

As an AI Operations Engineer, you will ensure that AI systems run reliably, securely, and at scale. You will work at the intersection of engineering, data, and operations, turning AI capabilities into dependable products and workflows.

What You Will Do

Reliable pipelines for deploying, monitoring, and updating AI and autonomy models in production environments, observability and evaluation frameworks, automation for data ingestion, training workflows, and release processes, integrations and internal AI tooling, documentation and runbooks.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Several years of experience in MLOps, DevOps, platform engineering, or a comparable operations role, solid Python skills, experience with containerization and orchestration, familiarity with ML lifecycle tools and model monitoring solutions, understanding of data pipelines, APIs, and modern software architectures.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in MLOps, DevOps, platform engineering, or a comparable operations role
• Solid Python skills and experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
• Familiarity with ML lifecycle tools and model monitoring solutions
• Understanding of data pipelines, APIs, and modern software architectures
• A structured, documentation-driven way of working and high standards for accuracy and accountability
• Awareness of security, compliance, and responsible AI practices; experience in regulated or defense-related environments is a plus
• Fluency in English; German is a plus
