Business Development Manager

Role Overview

The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing modular construction opportunities across Quebec and Ottawa. This role requires a combination of business development expertise and technical understanding of construction, engineering, design, and project delivery to effectively consult with clients and develop tailored modular solutions.

What You Will Do

Manage an assigned territory, identify and pursue modular construction opportunities, collaborate with estimating, engineering, design, operations, and project delivery teams, review project drawings, specifications, tender documents, and client requirements, lead the development of proposals, RFP responses, and project pursuit strategies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of business development, technical sales, project development, engineering, construction management, or related experience
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Architectural Technology, Building Sciences, Design, or a related technical discipline preferred
• Demonstrated understanding of construction methodologies, building systems, project delivery models, and contract structures
• Experience reviewing project specifications, drawings, technical requirements, and tender documentation
• Ability to engage with architects, engineers, developers, consultants, and project owners to develop technical solutions that meet client requirements
• Experience in modular construction, design-build, commercial construction, or engineered products is considered a strong asset
