Service Manager, Business Development

Role Overview

The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing modular construction opportunities across Quebec and Ottawa. This role requires a combination of expertise in business development and technical understanding of construction, engineering, design, and project realization to effectively advise clients and develop customized modular solutions.

What You Will Do

Manage a designated territory, identify, qualify, and pursue commercial, industrial, institutional, and public sector markets, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and develop technically sound and commercially viable solutions that meet client requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in business development, technical sales, project development, engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, architectural technology, building sciences, design, or a related technical discipline.
• Demonstrated understanding of construction methodologies, building systems, project realization models, and contract structures.
• Experience in examining project specifications, designs, technical requirements, and tender documents.
• Ability to collaborate with architects, engineers, promoters, experts, and project owners to develop technically sound solutions that meet client requirements.
• Experience in modular construction, design-build, commercial construction, or engineering products is considered a significant asset.
