Principal Customer Success Manager (PI System)

Role Overview

The Principal Customer Success Manager (CSM) will lead customer success and strategic engagement across key enterprise accounts for AVEVA PI System. The ideal candidate will bring 12+ years of hands-on experience with the PI System, combined with strong customer-facing, business consulting, and stakeholder management skills.

What You Will Do

The Principal CSM will act as a trusted strategic advisor to customers, working closely with senior business and technical stakeholders to drive adoption, value realization, customer retention, and expansion. Key responsibilities include owning customer success strategies, building strong relationships with senior stakeholders, and leveraging deep PI System expertise to advise customers on adoption, optimization, architecture, and best practices.

• Excellent executive communication, presentation, consulting, and stakeholder-management skills
• Expertise in PI Data Archive, PI Asset Framework (AF), PI Vision, interfaces/connectors, and PI System architecture
• Demonstrated experience in customer success, consulting, technical account management, solution architecture, or technical sales
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business outcomes and value
• Strong commercial awareness and experience partnering with Sales on customer growth and expansion
