Role Overview

The Business Intelligence & Data Analytics Manager plays a pivotal role in translating the BI & Data strategy into concrete, measurable business outcomes. The role combines technical leadership, team management, and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring that BI solutions are reliable, scalable, governed, and aligned with business priorities.

What You Will Do

The BI & Data Analytics Manager oversees the full BI value chain: from data sourcing and pipeline collaboration with Data Engineering and IT teams, to the functional design and lifecycle governance of semantic models, dashboard design, reporting frameworks, and end-user enablement.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik or equivalent)
• Proficiency in SQL and data querying languages
• Solid understanding of data modelling, semantic modelling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT processes
• Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Experience working with data governance, quality frameworks, and security standards
• Familiarity with agile project management methodologies
• Strong leadership and people management capabilities
• Excellent communication and data storytelling skills — ability to convey complex insights to non-technical audiences
• Strategic mindset with a strong business acumen in the insurance or financial services sector
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a complex, international and federated environment
• Collaborative approach with strong stakeholder management skills across business, Data, Technology and governance teams
• Curiosity, adaptability, and a genuine passion for data culture, continuous learning and simplification
