Join BAE Systems as a Communications Manager (Air Sector – Transformation & Crisis Communications) to support crisis communications planning and response across the Air Sector, while leading and delivering internal communications for transformation activity. The role reports to the Senior Communications Manager (Air Communications) and involves working closely with stakeholders across the Air Sector. You will act as a trusted communications partner across transformation programmes, industrial strategy, and security-related activity, supporting senior leaders and enabling effective, consistent messaging across the business.
Requirements
- Experience supporting or contributing to crisis or incident communications
- Proven experience delivering internal communications within large, complex organisations
- Experience in communications planning, change and/or transformation environments would be advantageous
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to influence senior leaders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to tailor messages to different audiences
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritise workload and manage multiple programmes simultaneously
