As an Engineering Manager I, you will coordinate and drive team efforts to deliver software solutions, focusing on people, processes, delivery, and governance.

You will be responsible for building and leading a team of software developers, measuring quality and delivery, contributing to improvements, and maintaining a solid technical understanding of systems.

• Extensive commercial development experience

• Developing low-latency, highly available, and scalable solutions
• Experience with Agentic transformation to the SDLC
• Driving AI efficiency initiatives
• Experience of event-based systems
• Server-side development experience
• Frontend development experience
• Good database application programming ability
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple streams of activity
• Assisting in driving the provision of a capable, reactive, motivated, and delivery-focused team
• Enforcing governance around quality, rules, standards, and processes within the team
• Being hands-on with architecture and technical solutions
• Ensuring the solution meets the needs of the Business
• Ensuring the development process is conducted efficiently
• Aiming to limit repeated steps with the development process
• Identifying and mitigating risk
• Removing blockers to delivery
• Analysing impact of change
• Mentoring members of the team and ensuring distribution of knowledge
• Inputting into the developer’s appraisals and other performance feedback

Benefits

• Annual salary between $130,000-$160,000
