Sales Operations Analyst

Reports To: Director of Sales

Location: Omaha, Nebraska (On-Site) · Full-Time, Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Salary: $55,000 – $75,000 depending on experience

Overview

Hand-poured in Omaha, Bianchi Candle Brands crafts each candle with care and attention to detail. Our brand family – Bianchi Candle Company, Yes You Candle, Modena, and Market Street Candle – offers premium candles, reed diffusers, and home fragrance products made in small batches from clean, sustainable ingredients. Our products are sold through national and regional retailers, specialty wholesale accounts, and e-commerce channels.

We are growing our retail footprint with major box store partners and need someone who understands what it takes to operate at that level. The Sales Operations Analyst is the operational backbone of our sales team – the person who makes sure orders get processed correctly, retailer requirements are met, data is clean, and nothing falls through the cracks.

This role is a great fit for someone who has worked in CPG, wholesale, or retail vendor operations and knows firsthand how demanding large retailer accounts can be. You will work directly with the Director of Sales and collaborate across Sales, Operations, Finance, and Marketing to keep our retail business running smoothly.

ResponsibilitiesRetail Account Operations

•      Manage the day-to-day operational requirements for large retailer and box store accounts

•      Navigate and maintain retailer vendor portals to submit required documentation and track compliance

•      Ensure all orders meet retailer routing guides, labeling requirements, and packaging specifications

•      Coordinate Certificates of Insurance (COI), compliance forms, and retailer-specific submissions

•      Manage new item setup, UPC registration, and product data submissions through retailer systems

•      Track and respond to retailer compliance requirements, deduction claims, and chargeback disputes in coordination with Finance

Order Management & EDI

•      Process, track, and manage purchase orders from receipt through fulfillment and shipment confirmation

•      Oversee EDI order processing – monitor transactions, resolve errors, and ensure accurate order flow

•      Coordinate with Operations and Logistics on order status, ship windows, routing compliance, and backorder communication

•      Communicate proactively with retail buyers and vendor portals on shipment status, delays, and substitutions

•      Support distributor and specialty wholesale account onboarding and ongoing order administration

Sales Reporting & Analytics

•      Build and maintain weekly and monthly sales reports across retail, wholesale, and e-commerce channels

•      Track sell-through, POS data, and account-level performance for key retail partners

•      Analyze sales trends and surface insights that help the team spot opportunities and address risks

•      Create dashboards and reporting that make performance data easy to understand and act on

•      Support the Director of Sales with forecasting, seasonal planning inputs, and performance-to-target tracking

Line Reviews & Buyer Support

•      Assist in preparing line review presentations, sell sheets, and retailer-facing materials

•      Compile item-level performance data, velocity reports, and competitive comparisons for buyer meetings

•      Support seasonal planning by pulling historical sell-through data and account-level projections

•      Coordinate product samples, packaging mockups, and submission deadlines for retailer reviews

Systems, Assets & Process

•      Own and maintain CRM data integrity – ensure records, contacts, and account details are accurate and up to date

•      Support HubWise, ERP, EDI, and Shopify system maintenance, testing, and ongoing improvement

•      Organize and maintain product photography libraries, digital asset databases, and naming conventions

•      Create and maintain SOPs and process documentation for sales operations workflows

•      Identify manual processes that can be automated or improved and lead those initiatives

RequirementsRequired

•      2+ years of experience in sales operations, retail vendor operations, or a CPG/wholesale support role

•      Direct experience working with large retailer vendor portals and compliance requirements (EDI, routing guides, item setup)

•      Experience with a CRM platform (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)

•      Understanding of chargeback and deduction processes common in retail vendor relationships

•      Highly organized with strong attention to detail – retailer compliance errors are costly and you know it

•      Clear communicator who can work with internal teams and external retail contacts professionally

Preferred

•      Experience in consumer goods, home goods, or the candle/fragrance industry

•      Familiarity with specific retailer systems

•      Background supporting a sales team at a product company selling into national retail

•      Experience with digital asset management or product content databases

Benefits

•      Opportunity for skill development and advancement within the company

•      Supportive, collaborative work environment with a strong emphasis on inclusive culture

•      The chance to grow with a brand expanding its footprint in national retail and wholesale
