Data Scientist, Mid

Role Overview

As a data scientist, you’ll use your analytical skills and data science knowledge to create real-world impact. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their questions and needs, and then dig into their data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle. You’ll develop algorithms and systems to turn sets of disparate data points into objective answers to help clients make informed decisions.

What You Will Do

You’ll work with complex data sets, develop advanced analytics and AI/ML models, and visualize complex data and concepts for non-technical leadership. You’ll also be able to articulate ‘go or no-go’ criteria clearly and have experience working on classified networks in support of DoW or IC clients.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience correlating complex technical findings into graphical, written, visual, and verbal narrative products
• Experience building advanced analytics and AI/ML models, particularly tools leveraging LLMs or agentic AI
• Ability to visualize complex data and concepts for non-technical leadership
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience with scientific techniques such as mathematics, statistics, information science, AI, machine learning, probability modeling, data mining, data engineering, or data warehousing
• 2+ years of experience in the development of algorithms leveraging R, Python, SQL, or NoSQL
• 2+ years of experience with Distributed data and computing tools, including MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, or MySQL
• 2+ years of experience with Machine Learning, AI, or NLP
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• Master’s degree
