Financial Analyst I

Role Overview

Supports Border States financial planning and analysis function through financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, profitability plans, financial metric monitoring and reporting to various levels of management.

What You Will Do

Analyzes actual vs. budgeted financial results, analyzes financial information against internal and external benchmarks, and assists departments and branches with financial model creation.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance preferred
• CPA, CMA, FPAC, or experience in wholesale and distribution industries preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Ability to read, write, and speak in English preferred.
• Prior experience in developing financial models, management reports and variance analysis is preferred.
• Must have advanced technical skills with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, Access a plus, and working knowledge of financial systems, preferably SAP, Internet and Microsoft Outlook.
